- Liquor Control Victoria (LCV) Certificate of Completion - on top of your Statement of Attainment, Victoria requires this separate LCV-issued certificate before you can legally work in a licensed venue.
- Video Assessment only - other states let you choose between an Observer Report or a Video Assessment. In Victoria, only the Video Assessment option is accepted.
- Mandatory final exam - Victorian students must pass a 20-question multiple-choice exam, in addition to the standard quizzes, case studies and reading activity.
- SHARPR module - after finishing the course, LCV requires an additional online module covering Sexual Harassment and Assault: Recognise, Prevent and Respond (SHARPR), before your official Certificate of Completion is issued.
None of this makes the course harder to finish - it just means a couple of extra steps compared with other states, so it's worth planning for them upfront.
